Healthy Teens and Young Adults Center
Healthy Teens and Young Adults Program was established in the late 1980’s as pregnancy prevention program, reproductive health and adolescent health.
Mission
It is a mission of the Health Department to help teens grow into responsible and healthy adults. Partnering with parents and the community, the Healthy Teens Center is a place where adolescents can come to learn about healthy behaviors and responsible decision making that will help them to delay sexual involvement and manage their own lives more effectively. Healthy Teens Center staff also encourage parents and community leaders to join them in addressing current issues that affect adolescents. We also provide School Based Wellness Clinics.
