Housing Development Division:

The Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for 2022-2023 funding round for housing and community development closed on April 14, 2023.

DHCD will consider applications outside of the NOFA timeframe for priority, time-sensitive projects that have secured necessary financing and are in a position to progress towards closing.  To be considered, please request a pre-application meeting with DHCD to discuss the project details, available resources, application process, legislative requirements, and schedule.  Submit your meeting request to Pamela Wilson, Housing Development Program Manager, at pawilson@co.pg.md.us

County support requires affordable housing developers to comply with the terms of the County’s Diversity and Equity Policy for Publicly Subsidized Development Projects. Please refer to the links below for the DHCD Supplier Diversity and Equity (SDE) Plan as well the SDE Reporting Template.  These forms are also available in Word and Excel format upon request. Community Development Division:
The Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) will be accepting Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program applications for Program Year (PY) 50, covering July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025. Applications will be available online Monday, November 6, 2023. DHCD will sponsor a virtual Proposal Workshop on Monday, November 6, 2023, at 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, which will provide an overview of the CDBG Program and specific requirements related to the application of these funds.  For more information see CDBG PY 50 Notice of Funding Availability and Workshop.
